Canada requires a tourist visa or Temporary residence visa, which is issued by IRCC. TRV is only for 6 months and you can use it one time or multiple times in the given timeframe. To apply for a visitor visa, an applicant would need the following things:
- A valid travel document, like a passport;
- Must be in good health;
- Should not have any criminal background or immigration-related convictions;
- Convince an immigration officer that he/she has reasons to get back to his/her own country such as immediate family to go back to, a secure job, home, financial assets, etc;
- Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada once the visa expires;
- Prove that you can financially sustain yourself during your visit
